I decided to do CPD23 to add to my portfolio of skills and to stay invigorated about all things library-related. My current contract is coming to an end in the next week so I hope that this course will give me something professional to focus on as well as being something to add to my CV.
Some of the 'things' I'm already quite comfortable with, like blogging and other social media, but I'm looking forward to learning about them in the context of library use. I also hope that it will support the personal project I've just started - a food blog called Something to Chew Over.
Thing 14 looks great - I've never heard of these ways of organising your references with these tools so I know it will be useful. I've recently learned about Prezi in Thing 17 and it looks really innovative. Week 12 in general looks great as I'd really like to be able to stand out when making presentations.
So I'm glad to get going on the 23 Things - I hope to learn a lot thus increasing my relevancy and employability!
